Shasa Hotel, Laem Set Beach
My wife and I just returned from a week at the Shasa hotel, our second trip to Koh Samui (last time was in October 2005).
We had an absolute fantastic time at this unique resort, from the moment we arrived to the day we left. The hotel
located on the south east coast of the island is a hidden gem. This very new and chic hotel blends into the beautiful landscape and inspiring scenery in a way that just has to be
experienced. Some would argue that the location is too remote, but it is only a 35 min ride to downtown Chaweng and the hotel provides a shuttle service twice a day.
The rooms are amazing, spacious and luxurious starting at 134 m2 with stylish and comfortable furniture, fully equipped kitchen, plasma screen
in living room and bed rooms (free DVD rental in lobby), JBL stereo with docking for ipod (free ipod rental in lobby) and everything else you need.
But the best of all is the friendliest and most experienced staff on the island. The hospitality and service is second to none.
We would definitely recommend this hotel to others, and we hope to return in the near future.
